Join Our Team as a Senior Business Analyst at Molina Healthcare

Job Summary: Molina Healthcare is seeking a skilled Senior Business Analyst to address complex business challenges such as Appeals & Grievances and Provider disputes. Utilizing both internal and external data sources, this role is fundamental in providing insights that aid decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will identify trends, construct strategic plans and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance business procedures. This position can be focused internally on operations or externally serving client needs and offers remote flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

- Engage with clients and colleagues to elicit requirements through interviews, document analysis, and targeted workshops.
- Translate complex customer business needs into detailed functional requirements for Appeals & Grievances and Provider disputes.
- Facilitate communication across external and internal teams to ensure alignment on project goals and functional requirements.
- Recommend process improvements and strategies for revenue enhancement based on analytical findings and business acumen.
- Develop comprehensive documentation such as Business Requirements Documents, Test Plans, and User Training materials.
- Involvement in all project development phases, from research and design to testing and implementation, ensuring compliance with intended functional and operational objectives.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5-7 years of experience in business analysis.
- At least 6 years of experience in managed care, with a deep understanding of relevant practices and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

- 3-5 years of formal training in Project Management desirable.
- Experience in coordinating complex, technically demanding team projects.
- Certifications like Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar from the International Institute of Business Analysis.
