Role Overview

As a Sr. Data Architect at Blockchains, Inc., your role will be pivotal in designing and implementing sophisticated data infrastructures essential for AI/ML models, immersive technology, and Web3 applications. Your expertise in data architecture will drive critical innovations and strategic alignment within our company, propelling us into the future of digital technology.
Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and constructing dynamic data pipelines leveraging tools like Apache Spark, Lambda, and Kinesis.
• Maintaining and advancing cloud platforms, integrating systems, and streamlining data processing to ensure top security and efficiency.
• Architecting data warehouses and lakes, optimizing data management for structured and unstructured frameworks with Redshift, BigQuery, MongoDB, and more.
• Leading cross-functional teams, boosting collaboration and innovation amongst developers and architects to achieve integrated solutions tailored to business goals.
• Managing vendor relations and technical evaluations, guiding the adoption of robust data governance policies.

What You Will Need to Succeed

Ideal candidates will have:

• Over 10 years of experience in data engineering and architecture, especially within cloud environments such as AWS.
• Proficiency in DevOps tools, including Kubernetes and Docker, enhancing operational workflows for AI/ML projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaborative skills, preferably honed in startup settings.
• A strong educational background with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
