Exciting Opportunity: Sr. Data Engineer - Data Engineering (Java/Python & Spark - 3+ years)

Job Description:

The field of authentication is rapidly evolving and brimming with fresh, innovative ideas. As a Sr. Data Engineer, you will serve as a design and development expert within a scrum team of 8-10 members. You will have end-to-end ownership of your stories and deliveries, working under the direction of a Director of Authentication.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between remote and office work. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor’s degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
• Proven hands-on capability in developing data pipelines
• Experience in creating data-driven business solutions and solving data problems using technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, MongoDB, NoSQL, and traditional data technologies (RDBMS)
• Experience in developing large-scale, enterprise-class distributed pipelines that require high availability, low latency, and strong data consistency computing
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java or Scala
• Design and development skills with Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Presto, and MapReduce
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Automated Test tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, Git, Selenium, and Chef
• Experience in Graph processing technologies and graph databases such as GraphX and Neo4j is a plus
