Key Job Responsibilities

As a Sr. Data Scientist in our dynamic team, you will leverage your extensive experience in machine learning and Large Language Models (LLM) to transform how Alexa interacts in a delightful manner. Collaborate closely with engineers, applied scientists, voice designers, and QA teams to bring singing, joking, and engaging interactions to life. You will spearhead our experimental roadmap, manage training data, and formulate criteria for annotations. Moreover, you will develop automated benchmarks to continuously enhance Alexa's unique personality traits.

Basic Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

• At least 5 years of experience in data querying languages such as SQL, or scripting languages like Python, or in statistical/mathematical software like R, SAS, or Matlab.
• A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience as a data scientist.
• Proven expertise in statistical models, for example, multinomial logistic regression.

Preferred Qualifications

We prefer candidates who also have:

• Over 2 years of expertise in data visualization tools like AWS QuickSight, Tableau, or R Shiny.
• Experience in managing data pipelines.
• Prior leadership or mentorship roles within data science teams.
