Role Responsibilities

• Define project scopes and success criteria in partnership with the Product team.
• Formulate, develop, and present proof of concepts (POCs).
• Deploy scalable machine learning models, monitor their performance, and refine them to enhance customer experience.
• Enhance our ML infrastructure by collaborating with Machine Learning Engineers (MLEs) to design robust ML pipelines.
• Stay ahead by exploring new technologies and tools aimed at elevating customer experiences.

Minimum Qualifications

• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in deploying ML models and components at scale.
• A deep understanding of diverse machine learning theories and algorithms.
• Proficient in Python with practical experience using ML libraries like Scikit-learn.
• Expertise in breaking down complex business problems into manageable ML components.
• Strong grasp of software engineering best practices.

Compensation Details

The salary range for the Senior Data Scientist position varies by location: $160,000 - $175,000 in North Carolina and $175,000 - $190,000 in New York. Compensation is comprehensive and based on experience, qualifications, and region.
