Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Finance Business Intelligence Analyst at Amaysim, you will:

• Act as a pivotal engagement channel, facilitating data-driven decision-making across the Finance team.
• Develop comprehensive digital reports to aid in the month-end processes, forecasting, and budgeting, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and cost amortisation as per Accounting standards.
• Offer expert advice to the Amaysim Finance team on data analysis principles, strategies, and the utilisation of BI systems and processes.
• Translate complex business and financial queries into clear data analysis tasks, performing in-depth analysis and presenting actionable insights.
• Initiate proactive ad-hoc analysis to address specific business challenges, supporting broader financial decision-making and reporting needs.

Who Are We Looking For?

The ideal candidate will bring:

• Proven expertise in Data Analytics, Data Science, or Business Analytics, ideally within subscription-based or digital marketing sectors.
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• Demonstrable experience in financial reporting and revenue recognition.
• Strong capabilities in Data Wrangling, including comprehensive experience with end-to-end data analysis solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
• An unwavering attention to detail and a knack for identifying and resolving data discrepancies.
