Role Overview

We are looking for a Sr. Machine Learning Scientist to join our innovative team at Expedia Partner Solutions. This role is central to our organization and involves developing end-to-end solutions for ranking problems, recommendation engines, and optimizing our pricing and commission structures. Be part of a fast-growing team committed to continuous experimentation, analysis, and algorithm improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to Data Science projects, providing technical leadership and innovative ideas.
• Mentor other Data Scientists, offering technical guidance and advice for better business outcomes and personal growth.
• Proactively enhance team and system capabilities.
• Collaborate with technology and business leaders to maintain delivery momentum.
• Concisely articulate solutions, methodologies, and frameworks to both technical and non-technical partners.

Who You Are

We are looking for an individual with:

• Proven excellence in leading Data Science projects in a commercial setting.
• Extensive experience across a variety of technologies and algorithms.
• A passion for new ideas and a vocal approach.
• A willingness to educate and guide others.
• Proficiency in Python and PySpark, with experience in Keras and sklearn, and knowledge of Scala as a plus.
• Hands-on experience deploying data solutions to production.
• Adaptability, flexibility, and swift learning capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
