Sr. Manager - Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Technologies & Architecture
The Sr. Manager - Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Technologies & Architecture at Ingredion will manage, design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML solutions to enable digital transformation and innovation. This senior-level role demands a strong background in AI/ML to develop robust architectures and collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and translate business requirements into actionable AI/ML solutions.
- Design and implement end-to-end AI/ML pipelines, including data ingestion, model development, deployment, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Apply best practices in AI/ML engineering like code quality, testing, and continuous integration/delivery.
- Select and utilize AI/ML frameworks and platforms such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Azure, or GCP.
- Research and apply the latest AI/ML techniques to solve complex business problems.
- Document solution architecture, focusing on integration, security, scalability, and performance.
- Manage AI/ML operations, ensuring high-quality solutions that meet business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align AI/ML objectives with business goals.
- Provide technical guidance, leadership, and mentorship to teams.
- Evaluate AI/ML solutions to ensure they meet performance and quality standards.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, suggesting improvements and innovations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in AI/ML engineering.
- Proficiency in one or more AI/ML programming languages.
- Strong knowledge of AI/ML concepts like supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, computer vision, and more.
- Hands-on experience with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn.
- Experience with large datasets and big data technologies.
- Familiarity with DevOps principles in AI/ML engineering.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining complex AI/ML concepts to varied audiences.
- Experience working in a global and matrixed environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Certification in AI/ML solutions & architecture is a plus.
