Sr. Manager - Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Technologies & Architecture

The Sr. Manager - Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Technologies & Architecture at Ingredion will manage, design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML solutions to enable digital transformation and innovation. This senior-level role demands a strong background in AI/ML to develop robust architectures and collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and translate business requirements into actionable AI/ML solutions.
• Design and implement end-to-end AI/ML pipelines, including data ingestion, model development, deployment, monitoring, and evaluation.
• Apply best practices in AI/ML engineering like code quality, testing, and continuous integration/delivery.
• Select and utilize AI/ML frameworks and platforms such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Azure, or GCP.
• Research and apply the latest AI/ML techniques to solve complex business problems.
• Document solution architecture, focusing on integration, security, scalability, and performance.
• Manage AI/ML operations, ensuring high-quality solutions that meet business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align AI/ML objectives with business goals.
• Provide technical guidance, leadership, and mentorship to teams.
• Evaluate AI/ML solutions to ensure they meet performance and quality standards.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, suggesting improvements and innovations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in AI/ML engineering.
• Proficiency in one or more AI/ML programming languages.
• Strong knowledge of AI/ML concepts like supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, computer vision, and more.
• Hands-on experience with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn.
• Experience with large datasets and big data technologies.
• Familiarity with DevOps principles in AI/ML engineering.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining complex AI/ML concepts to varied audiences.
• Experience working in a global and matrixed environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Certification in AI/ML solutions & architecture is a plus.
