Millions in the U.S. continue to be underserved or ignored by traditional financial institutions. At Stash, an investment app with more than 2 million active subscribers, we are addressing this issue by empowering everyday Americans with the confidence to manage their money and financial future. Our plans, starting at just $3 a month, offer easy and affordable access to a suite of products including investing, banking, education, and advice. Stash users are 18% more financially literate than the average American, and they depend on our unique tools, guardrails, and content to learn about money and build long-term wealth. In 2022, we made tremendous progress in improving the Stash customer experience. We launched Stash Core, a new banking account experience offering access to an upgraded Stock-Back® Debit Mastercard®, enhanced customer support, and updated benefits, including increased rewards; and expanded access to cryptocurrency through a separate crypto account offering. Our Talented Team We take pride in attracting talented individuals who share our goal of unlocking financial opportunities for a new generation of investors. Their unique perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences contribute to a vibrant and inclusive culture based on the principle of "Prioritizing People", a core value at Stash. Let's solve complicated problems and tackle wealth inequality. We're looking for a Staff Data Scientist to join our Fraud Risk Management team. The team is responsible for mitigating first and third party fraud across the whole user lifecycle at Stash, and oversees fraud prevention, detection, strategies, and governance.
