About the Data Science Organization at Signifyd

Our Data Science team is responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring production ML models and risk management tools. These tools form the cornerstone of Signifyd's product offerings. The Senior Analyst will join the Merchant Solutions team within our Data Science organization, balancing custom and scalable solutions tailored to customer needs. As a Senior Analyst, you'll influence team strategies, ensuring solutions meet their objectives while recommending adjustments when necessary.

Responsibilities: How You'll Make an Impact

• Build production machine learning models to identify fraud
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance our ML platform
• Lead and deliver multiple large-scale products or complex software components
• Deepen our understanding of key entities used in decision-making
• Write production and offline analytics code in Python
• Communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences
• Navigate complex scenarios across scale, uncertainty, and interconnectedness

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related analytical field
• 6+ years of post-undergrad work experience
• Experience building production ML models
• Adept at using visualizations to convey analytical results to non-team members
• Proficient in hands-on statistical analysis with a solid foundation
• Experience writing and reviewing code in a shared codebase, particularly in Python
• Practical SQL knowledge
• Experience designing experiments and collecting data
• Familiarity with the Linux command line

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in fraud, payments, or e-commerce sectors
• Experience conducting data analysis in distributed environments
• A passion for writing well-tested production-grade code
• Advanced degree (Master's or PhD)
