Job Description

Role Overview

As a Staff to Senior Staff Machine Learning Engineer specializing in Catalog Knowledge, your goal will be to enhance the e-commerce experience by improving the quality and consistency of our product catalogs. You will leverage statistical, machine learning, and deep learning technologies to optimize our systems used in the product registration process, ensuring a seamless and enriched experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and commercialize ML/DL models based on text and image data.
• Design and develop ML pipelines.
• Create prediction services using Java or Python.
• Conduct research to identify and implement best practices from within and outside the company.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience as a technical leader, capable of deriving insights through data analysis and steering ML/DL modeling efforts.
• Deep understanding of ML/DL and statistical-based modeling.
• A minimum of 7 years in ML/DL modeling and commercialization, or 5 years with relevant academic qualifications.
• Expertise in large-scale data processing technologies (e.g., EMR, Hadoop, Spark).
• Proficient in developing prediction services using Java or Python.
• Ability to identify problems independently and lead projects to resolve them.
• Skilled in articulating and solving ambiguous business issues.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience in enhancing key business metrics using machine learning.
• Expertise in building ML pipelines.
• Experience in developing similarity measurement models based on text and image data.
• Background in NLP, LLM, or image processing modeling.
