Job Description

Parsons is seeking an exceptional Information Manager to support a military construction program in San Diego, California. We are looking for a talented Information Systems Solution / Data Architect with extensive experience in Tableau, Tableau Prep Builder, and data analytics tools. In this role, you will transform construction data into visual graphics and dashboards, driving performance to plan and supporting world-class construction projects for the US Navy and US Marine Corps.

Required Skills and Education

• Minimum of five (5) years' experience in Tableau and Tableau Prep Builder development
• Three (3) years' experience using Power BI or equivalent database application, including:
  • Importing various source data
  • Creating graphic data representation and dashboards
  • Integrating data to create queries and reports
  • Exporting and publishing data to interface with other programs (e.g., SharePoint)
• Construction-related dashboards and data visualization experience
• Proficiency in spreadsheet and data automation software
• A degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university, Architecture from an NAAB-accredited university, MBA, or Computer Science, Software Engineering, Software Development
• Minimum of five (5) years' equivalent experience performing the identified tasks

What You'll Be Doing

• Creating data visualization dashboards using Tableau and Tableau Prep Builder from several data sources
• Ensuring stakeholders are supported and informed about program initiatives, interdependencies, risks, and issues
• Conducting data analytics to monitor, analyze, and synthesize reports, timelines, trends, and interdependencies for leadership and stakeholders
• Identifying critical decision and data input points, providing timely reminders to management
• Generating reports and documentation related to project/program objectives

Required Skills You'll Bring

• Excellent executive-level writing and brief preparation skills for senior leaders
• Strong analytics skills to transform raw data into quality reports and program performance insights
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Teams) and Adobe Acrobat Professional
• Adaptability to new government software (e.g., eCMS, Tableau, eContracts, eProjects)
• Comprehensive historical knowledge to provide informed suggestions and decisions

Desired Skills You'll Bring

• Experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software
• Strong skills in gathering and analyzing information from multiple stakeholders
• Understanding of construction project quality control processes
• Skills in preparing meeting agendas, coordinating stakeholder attendance, and managing meeting scope and action items

Qualifications - Highly Desirable

• Prior experience with NAVFAC
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling software

Salary Range:

$96,400.00 - $168,700.00
