(USA) Principal, Data Scientist - ML Architect

What You'll Do:

As the Principal Data Scientist, you will:

• Design and prototype ML/AI models to enhance member experiences across various interfaces.
• Manage the full lifecycle of Machine Learning products, including the Ads sector, from initial conception to implementation.
• Lead a dedicated team of Data Scientists and Engineers, focusing on the backend infrastructure essential for AI/ML solutions.
• Forge strong collaborations with Product Managers and Technologists to deploy scalable ML/AI solutions.
• Drive innovation in ad relevancy and ranking within the vast ecosystem of Walmart and Sam's Club.

What You'll Bring:

• Proven experience in developing large-scale production systems, particularly in Search, Ads, and ranking algorithms.
• Expertise in building large-scale ML systems using public clouds like Azure, Google Cloud, etc.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, R, or Scala and machine learning software like TensorFlow/PyTorch.
• A minimum of 3 years experience in applied machine learning.
• Strong knowledge of MLOps practices including design documentation, testing, and source code management.
