Key Responsibilities

As a senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will:

• Architect, design, and develop machine learning prediction models to address business challenges, adhering to INDG best practices with the integration of AWS services.
• Collaborate with domain experts and product managers to understand business needs and map business problems to ML solutions.
• Stay abreast of groundbreaking research in advanced ML topics to solve complex problems quickly.
• Act as the principal point-of-contact for ML projects and provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
• Design and guide the implementation of features for the entire team and deliver solutions for cross-team initiatives.
• Utilize metrics to make data-driven decisions.
• Write and maintain production-quality code.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Machine Learning, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience, particularly in building commercial and ML applications.
• Expertise with object-oriented programming languages such as Java or Python, as well as ML/AI frameworks, libraries, data structures, and data modeling techniques.
• Extensive experience across all phases of the machine learning lifecycle, from problem mapping and scoping to data preparation and optimizing model performance.
