About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Direct Response Copywriter to join our growing team. As a Senior Copywriter, you will be responsible for crafting compelling offers and angles for our range of supplements. You will tackle various writing assignments, including advertorials, landing pages, upsells, cross-sells through CRO, and video ads, to drive customer acquisition and achieve product-market fit. Once validated, you will transform your copy discoveries into scalable writing processes through creative thinking models and/or AI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and enhance ads, scripts, funnels, and offers to acquire and retain customers profitably, based on KPIs.
  • Expand market-message fit for our supplement range.

Daily Tasks

  • Analyze campaign reports to identify gaps within the funnel and implement improvements to increase ROAS.
  • Generate a steady stream of fresh hooks, angles, and arguments to outperform existing ads, pages, and scripts.
  • Collaborate with Growth Strategists, Designers, Editors, and Project Managers to achieve key KPIs.
  • Refine customer profiles to gain deeper insights into psychological triggers.
  • Create innovative claims that differentiate products while adhering to compliance policies.
  • Analyze competitor and cross-industry advertising strategies to develop new messaging approaches.
  • Review and provide constructive feedback on other writers' copies.
  • Build and train AI copy models using existing customer and winning ad data.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in direct response copywriting.
  • Strong analytical skills to dissect core drivers of working ads.
  • Proven framework for research, psychological trigger identification, message and angle testing.
  • High-level storytelling, sales, and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to distill new concepts into applicable principles and quickly implement them for new writers.
  • Independent problem solver with the ability to manage multiple projects end-to-end.
  • Organized, meticulous, and obsessed with psychology, persuasion, and advertising.
  • Active involvement in the DTC Twitter, DRM/Copy advertising spaces is a plus.
  • Bonus: Experience, knowledge, or interest in behavioral psychology, sociology, economics, NLP, personality profiling, and sales.
