Role Overview

Join our team as an AI Prompt & Language Specialist (SPANISH), where you will work with cutting-edge AI technologies to build and test linguistic content. Your role will be essential in enabling our content moderation solutions to accurately detect and classify a wide variety of online harms with cultural context.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance and Future Development

  • Build and maintain linguistic tools using your language expertise to ensure accurate and context-based classification.
  • Classify words and phrases based on a predefined taxonomy of online harms.
  • Review chat data to ensure accurate classification and address misclassifications as needed.
  • Analyze data for trends and create plans for classification improvement based on impact.
  • Identify and add vocabulary based on client requests, global issues, current events, and other trends.
  • Collaborate with the Client Success team to answer client questions and assist in solving community issues.
  • Participate in developing new and improved methods for detecting content designed to circumvent content moderation.
  • Support product testing and report product outages as needed.

AI Data Generation

  • Use various tools to curate and build datasets for evaluating and testing AI models and prompts.
  • Label or analyze data to assist data scientists in training AI.
  • Conduct red-teaming to test potential harms in new AI features, evaluate responses, and report results.
  • Work with internal teams to refine policy input for AI.
  • Contribute native language prompts to the red-teaming library for future use.

Quality Audits

  • Audit labeled data and report results.
  • Identify areas of weakness and provide recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

  • Native level fluency in Spanish.
  • In-depth understanding of cultural specificities governing the usage of the language.
  • Ability to autonomously follow and execute deliverables according to constrained timelines.
  • Capable of documenting cultural information into a knowledge repository and enjoy research-related tasks.
  • Able to present observations and information in digestible formats such as reports, presentations, or documents.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.

  • Team player who’s also capable of driving your own work.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Willing and able to handle the exposure to unpleasant content at times, as implied by Trust & Safety roles.

Bonus Experience

  • Moderation experience, either professional or as a hobby.
  • Experienced gamer.
  • Studies in cultural fields such as sociology, ethics, education, anthropology, etc.
  • Experience related to inclusivity, child protection, or legal protection.
