Role Overview
In the role of an ideal AI/ML Architect, you are expected to possess the ability to delve deeply into technical details and communicate effectively with others. You should have a knack for transforming complex data into a clean solution, and helping others comprehend the power of their data. This position presents an opportunity to significantly influence the way businesses function and make decisions on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
- Delve deeply into a wide array of data (tabular, text, image, etc.) to spot challenges and deliver data-driven insights to our clients.
- Apply analytical techniques to identify areas of opportunity to facilitate business goals achievement.
- Use GCP services to train and deploy pre-existing (Vertex AI/AutoML/BQML) or custom models to tackle a client’s business issue.
- Act as a thought leader for your team on projects and contribute to central practice initiatives.
- Perform as a subject matter expert on pre-sales calls and proposal requests.
- Drive the successful delivery of analytics solutions.
- Create reports and presentations that highlight the value of your solution to our clients.
- Collaborate with other data science team members to create a center of excellence and establish standard operating procedures, accelerators, and sales assets.
- Lead the design of technical solutions to meet customers' and clients' business needs. This includes working with stakeholders to understand their requisites, developing high-level and detailed solution designs, and ensuring that the solutions are technically viable and cost-efficient.
- Provide technical leadership to customer and client engagements, including teaming up with the sales team to envision and execute technical presentations and proposals, and partner with the delivery team to implement and support the technical solutions.
- Mentor and train junior team members and assist them in expanding their technical capabilities and knowledge. This includes providing feedback, coaching, and guidance.
Qualifications
- A minimum of five years of experience with data science.
- Proficiency in Python (preferred) and R programming.
- Experience with SQL.
- Familiarity with Data Warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Synapse).
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git/Github.
- Big Data processing framework experience (e.g., Spark/Pyspark, Dask, Hive).
- Experience in creating Machine Learning models and using Deep Learning frameworks like Tensorflow, Keras, PyTorch.
- Ability to communicate intricate, technical processes to non-technical business stakeholders.
- Experience in developing and maintaining solution design standards and best practices.
- Ability to keep pace with changing business requirements and deliver high-quality solutions independently and with teams of varying skill levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
- Experience with Generative AI is a plus.
