Job Title: Big Data / Analytics Developer

Key Responsibilities
Data Engineering
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to handle large volumes of data from diverse sources.
- Implement and optimize distributed computing frameworks such as Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, or Apache Flink for efficient big data processing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver innovative solutions for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance issues, enhancing reliability and efficiency.
Data Warehousing
- Design dimensional data models and database schemas optimized for analytical queries and reporting needs.
- Develop and maintain ETL workflows to ensure data quality and consistency in data warehousing.
- Optimize data warehouse architectures and indexing strategies for efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Engage with business analysts and stakeholders to translate reporting and analytics requirements into technical solutions.
Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Python and SQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with big data technologies like Apache Spark or Apache Flink.
- Experience in designing and implementing dimensional data models for data warehousing.
- Knowledge of ETL tools and data integration techniques.
Analytical Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for understanding complex data requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
- Experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements from stakeholders.
Communication and Collaboration
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional team environments.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms such as OCI, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools like OBIEE, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Relevant certification or training in data engineering and data warehousing technologies.
