What you'll do at Epsilon

You'll design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions across various domains using the BI Tools SAP BO and Tableau.

Duties and responsibilities

• Understand client requirements and create technical specifications to turn into a datamart, universe design and report development.
• Develop Reports and Dashboards from multiple sources using BI tools – SAP BO and Tableau.
• Have practical experience developing a semantic layer to support canned and ad-hoc reports.
• Optimize queries and conduct performance tuning using Database and BI tool recommended approaches.
• Implement out-of-the-box reports and customization for Epsilon's CRM and loyalty solution.
• Resolve production issues and adhere to SLAs based on client needs.
• Collaborate with Business System Analysts, Database Developers, Architects, Project Managers etc. to ensure smooth delivery.
• Communicate timely issues and potential delivery risks to relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure the development of dashboards in accordance with industry best practices and Epsilon standards.
• Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, organize, analyze data and present to stakeholders.
• Adapt to supporting multiple business intelligence engagements with a service mindset.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 4+ years of development experience utilizing SAP Business Objects (BO) or Tableau.
• Must have at least 3+ years of experience in BO Universe design, BO WebI development, and it's beneficial to have some familiarity with Tableau live/extract data-source design enabling self-service BI.
• Must have experience in using IDT/UDT to build WebI reports from scratch.
• Good to have exposure to other BI tools like Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
• Must understand the architecture of BI, server component configurations, user and content management.
• Should have SQL query optimization skills on any databases like Oracle/Sql server/ RedShift and must be capable of building optimal queries while developing the WebI dashboards.
• Excellent oral and written communication along with a positive attitude towards getting the work done.
