Role Overview: Lead Data Scientist, AI & Data Team

Our AI & Data team is exploring the frontiers of Artificial Intelligence and data analytics to enhance company performance across various sectors. As a Lead Data Scientist, your role will be pivotal in driving our strategic initiatives forward. This position reports directly to the AI Lead of Field Productivity and Field Operations Value Streams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex data analysis and modeling projects to support business decisions and strategy.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to maximize business outcomes through analytics.
  • Develop predictive models using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques.
  • Implement analytical models seamlessly into business processes by collaborating with tech and operations teams.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and innovate continuously by testing new methods and technologies.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and data privacy guidelines.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, or related fields, with substantial professional data science experience.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, SQL, and Spark, and experience in predictive modeling and data visualization tools.
  • Strong communication skills to interface effectively with various internal teams and external partners.
  • Experience in insurance or consumer finance, and familiarity with machine learning, NLP, and entity recognition will be advantageous.

Salary Range: $117,500-$177,500. Position is exempt from overtime with eligibility for discretionary and other bonuses.
