Join Our Team as a CRM and Data Analyst at Heriot-Watt University

Heriot-Watt University is currently seeking a proactive and skilled CRM and Data Analyst to join our dynamic Prospect Experience team. This vital role supports our Marketing, Recruitment, Admissions, and Communications teams by developing effective communication strategies and optimizing data use across our global campuses. Based in the vibrant administrative capital of Putrajaya, Malaysia, this position offers a unique opportunity to impact our university’s strategic initiatives directly.

Key Responsibilities

As a CRM and Data Analyst, you will:

• Maintain and enhance CRM systems integration, configuration, and customization.
• Lead as a CRM channel owner to maximize engagement and optimize the student recruitment journey.
• Implement tailored CRM communication plans across various academic levels.
• Manage and maintain marketing automation and integration with Email Service Providers (ESP).
• Handle lead collection processes and manage bulk data.
• Develop forecasts and models for student recruitment to support strategic planning.
• Prepare detailed reports and dashboards, presenting data in an understandable and visually engaging format.
• Collaborate with teams across the university to provide data-driven insights for optimizing strategies and offerings.
• Participate in promotional activities such as education fairs and open days.

Who We Are Looking For

Education & Qualifications

• Essential: Diploma/Degree or equivalent qualification.
• Desirable: Degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Digital Marketing, Market Research, Business, or related field.

Experience

• Essential: Proficiency in CRM systems like Salesforce, MS Dynamics, etc., and strong data analysis skills.
• Desirable: Experience in the Higher Education sector.

Skills & Competencies

• Exceptional analytical and presentation skills with keen attention to detail.
• Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Desirable: Experience managing CRM campaigns and project management.
