As a Data Analyst, you will part of a cooperative and goal-oriented Data Science and Machine Learning Team. Please note: This position is based in NYC and demands in-person work 1-2 days per week at our NYC office. About This Role Data Analysis: - Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis to support Talkspace’s financial and revenue operation initiatives with data-driven suggestions. - Collect analytical requirements, draft database queries, and construct automated reports for internal business parties and external partners. - Critically evaluate, assess hypotheses, and use data to experiment and refine new product features or business strategies. Communication and Teamwork: - Collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate insight into action. - Explain the narrative behind the data to non-technical stakeholders, converting insights into outcomes. Mental Health Outcomes: - Use statistics to find patterns and trends that help us understand and convey how Talkspace is impacting patient mental health outcomes. What are we doing right, and where do we need to improve? About You: - 2-4 years of experience in an analytical role - BA/BS in a quantitative field like statistics, applied mathematics, economics, computer science, or equivalent experience - Skilled in SQL, Python, and Excel / Google Sheets - Experienced with statistical data manipulation - Familiar with data visualization software like Looker or Tableau - A creative problem solver who starts by understanding the question - A strong growth mindset and interest in expanding your data skill set with a focus on system thinking - Keen to convert the solutions you make into new tools for the future Compensation: At Talkspace, we believe in pay transparency during the interview process as a critical part of fairness, equity, and inclusion. The hourly rate is based on internal and external compensation benchmarks, which we consistently analyze to ensure competitive pay. The base salary range for this role is between $100,000.00 and $120,000.00. The leveling within the hourly rate corresponds to each applicant’s relevant experience, skills assessed during the interview process, education, and appropriate certifications. Why Talkspace?
