In this position, you will be integral in supporting healthcare organizations and providers by examining and interpreting patient data to enhance revenue cycles and population health.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of patient data, including medical records, insurance claims, and demographic information, to pinpoint discrepancies, errors, and areas of potential enhancement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including revenue cycle management, coding, and billing to ensure accurate and prompt claim submissions and maximize reimbursement.
  • Develop and implement data-informed strategies to improve revenue cycles and minimize claim rejections and payment delays.
  • Use data visualization tools to generate informative and visually engaging reports and dashboards that effectively deliver key insights to stakeholders.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on patient data to guarantee accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and recommend process enhancements to boost data integrity and efficiency of workflows.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to patient data analysis and revenue cycle management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, finance, business, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis and interpretation, preferably within the healthcare industry.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software.
  • Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to identify trends, patterns, and outliers in complex datasets.
  • Knowledge of medical billing, coding, and reimbursement processes.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations, such as HIPAA and CMS guidelines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision in handling sensitive patient information.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and understandable manner.
