As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented Mid-Level Data Analyst to join our team and help us harness the power of data for educational excellence.
As a Mid-Level Data Analyst at Twinkl, you will be an integral part of our data-driven culture. You will work closely with cross-functional teams such as production and peoples to extract insights from data, drive informed decisions, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our organisation. Your expertise in data handling, cleaning data analysis, visualisation, manipulation and interpretation will be essential in helping us optimize strategies and enhance overall organisational efficiency. This role requires strong analytical skills, and the ability to process data into actionable recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis:
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Develop and maintain data models and visualizations to communicate insights effectively.
Data Reporting:
- Generate reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Automate and streamline data reporting processes for efficiency.
Data Integration:
- Collaborate with teams to integrate data from various sources for comprehensive analysis.
- Ensure data quality and accuracy through validation and cleansing processes.
Problem Solving:
- Use data to identify opportunities for improvement and propose data-driven solutions.
- Assist in making informed decisions based on data analysis.
Data Strategy:
- Contribute to the development of data strategies and best practices.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging data technologies.
Core Skills:
- Data Analysis Tools: Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, R, SQL, or similar.
- Data Visualization: Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Statistical Analysis: Ability to apply statistical methods to data analysis.
- Database Management: Familiarity with database systems and query languages.
- Data Cleansing: Skill in cleaning and transforming raw data into usable formats.
- Problem-Solving: Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Requirements:
We're interested in anyone who meets the following criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of industry experience in data analysis or a related role.
- Experience with educational data or e-learning platforms is a plus.
- Minimum of 1 year of industry experience in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and data visualisation tools (e.g., Google sheets, Tableau, Python, R, SQL).
