Role Overview: Data Analytics Developer

The Supply Chain Analytics group, a center of excellence within GSM, blends supply chain expertise with advanced analytical capabilities and tools. Our team delivers critical insights that enable strategic and impactful business decisions, enhancing operational efficiency and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements in BI contexts into actionable technical projects.
• Lead data analytics initiatives to develop insightful analysis, improving business performance and operational efficiency.
• Create and optimize data models, building intuitive and effective dashboards and applications in Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate, among other Corning IT tools.
• Enhance existing BI solutions, developing and implementing innovations to boost functionality and performance.
• Ensure precision in data management through robust quality inspections, cleansing, and automation processes.
• Collaborate across GSM teams to define and execute project plans aligned with business objectives.
• Stay updated with industry advancements in data analytics and machine learning to continually refine our methodologies and tools.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in data analytics or related roles, with a strong background in BI dashboard development, data cleansing, and aggregation.
• Expertise in Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power Query M, including advanced skills in DAX and M Query.
• Familiarity with API, REST Endpoints, database and data lake methodologies.
• Experience in global supply chain management, focusing on procurement and analytics.
• Proficiency with multi-lingual and cross-cultural team collaborations.
• Technical proficiency in SQL, Python, and Microsoft 365 applications.

Desired Skills

• Experience with Databricks and SAP ECC/S4HANA, particularly in Procure to Pay modules such as SAP MM.
