Position Overview: Sr. Data Engineer

As a Sr. Data Engineer at Kaseya, you will be pivotal in crafting and optimizing data solutions that drive analytical capabilities across our wide spectrum of clients. Leveraging advanced technologies like Snowflake, Airflow, and AWS, you will lead and implement cutting-edge data processes that are foundational to our product’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop robust data solutions based on Snowflake.
• Enhance and maintain ETL/ELT workflows within Snowflake.
• Manage complex data orchestration using Apache Airflow.
• Integrate and utilize AWS for seamless data operations and architecture improvements.
• Execute complex SQL queries and leverage Python for automation and data processing enhancements.
• Oversee the optimization of our data warehouse for scalability and performance.
• Develop effective data models to support robust analytical and reporting structures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet data requirements and optimize solutions.
• Document and share your processes to bolster team knowledge and efficiency.

Required Skills:

• Demonstrated expertise in Snowflake and data solution implementations.
• Proven ability to orchestrate workflows using Apache Airflow.
• Comprehensive knowledge of AWS concerning data storage and analytics.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Strong understanding of data warehouse management and data modelling best practices.
• Ability to solve complex technical problems independently and innovatively.

Candidate Profile:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, MIS, or other relevant quantitative fields.
