Opportunity: Data Governance Manager – Do What You Love And Never Work a Day in Your Life

As a Data Governance Manager at HESTA, you will be integral to the management and oversight of data governance frameworks and policies. Your key role will involve ensuring compliance with financial service regulations and aligning data governance with our organizational goals. You'll develop, implement, and sustain robust data governance practices, working with stakeholders to provide business value, and promoting a data-driven culture throughout HESTA.

About You

We're looking for someone with:

• Experience in a similar role within the financial services industry, with proven expertise in developing and executing data governance frameworks and strategies.
• Knowledge of Australian financial service regulations such as APRA's CPG 235 and CPS 230, and familiarity with international data protection laws like GDPR.
• A strong understanding of data management principles, including data quality, metadata management, and data lineage.
• The capability to create and deliver training and awareness programs on data governance and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills with a track record of influencing organizational data practices and policies.
