About the Role

As a Junior Data Analyst specializing in demand forecasting, you will be crucial in predicting future product demand and optimizing inventory management. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to support demand forecasting.
• Develop and maintain forecasting models using Python.
• Analyze data trends to provide actionable insights for the planning team.
• Collaborate with IT, pricing, marketing, and supply chain departments to refine forecasting accuracy.
• Prepare and present detailed reports and visualizations to stakeholders.
• Continuously monitor and improve forecasting models.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and forecasting.

Qualifications and Skills

Required Knowledge

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and model development.
• Experience with Python libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, and Scikit-learn.
• Proficiency in Excel.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects.

Valuable Skills and Experience

• Knowledge of Python libraries like TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch.

Languages

• Fluent in Spanish and English; French is a plus.
