As a Data Scientist with our company, you will utilize your strong expertise in AI with the aid of machine learning, data mining and information retrieval to design, prototype and build next-generation advanced analytics engines and solutions. You'll be working with cross-functional teams and business partners to define the technical problem statement and hypotheses to test. You'll create efficient and accurate analytical models that simulate business decisions, and incorporate these models into analytical data products and tools. You'll have an opportunity to influence both current and future strategy by utilizing your analytical skills to ensure business value and communicate results.
Key Responsibilities:
-Develop innovative solutions in collaboration with business partners to achieve objectives using cutting-edge techniques and tools.
-Effectively convey the analytics approach and how it will meet and address business partner objectives.
-Promote and educate about the importance of data-driven decision making, focusing on the "how and why" of solutions.
-Lead analytical approaches; collaboratively integrate solutions into applications and tools with data engineers, business leads, analysts, and developers.
-Create repeatable, interpretable, dynamic, and scalable models that are seamlessly incorporated into analytic data products.
-Engineer features through your business acumen to identify new ways to amalgamate disparate internal and external data sources.
-Share your passion for Data Science with the broader enterprise community; identify and develop long-term processes, frameworks, tools, methods and standards.
-Collaborate, mentor, and learn with a growing team of seasoned Data Scientists.
-Stay connected with external sources of ideas through conferences and community engagements.
Requirements:
-A Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
-5-7 years of Data Science and Machine Learning experience are required.
-Proficiency with Data Science concepts and modeling techniques to solve problems such as clustering, classification, regression, anomaly detection, simulation, and optimization problems on large-scale data sets.
-At least 2-3 years of experience in CPG and Retail space.
-Comfortable working in a hybrid setup in Nashville.
-Ability to apply various analytical models to business use cases (NLP, Supervised, Unsupervised, Neural Nets, etc.)
-Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to understand business partner needs and deliver solutions.
-Bias for action, with the ability to deliver outstanding results through task prioritization and time management.
-Experience with data visualization tools — Tableau, R Shiny, etc. preferred.
