The Role | Operational Analytics & Data Science

As a Data Scientist, you will engage in various tasks within Operational Analytics & Data Science. This includes developing and operating predictive models, A/B testing, webservices, and cloud computing. Our focus is on creating value, which might require simple rules or more complex statistical models.

Tryg is committed to an ambitious AI and data strategy, aiming to establish a Cloud-based data and analytics platform to enhance data availability, streamline processes, and equip with the right tools.

Your typical responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and training predictive models.
  • Operating models and applications in the cloud.
  • Integrating data sources into new and existing applications.
  • Conducting effect measurement through monitoring and A/B testing.
  • Developing services for interaction and monitoring applications.
  • Working with GenAI and LLM.

The primary tools we use include Microsoft Azure with Python, Kubernetes, Docker, GitLab, Kafka, and SQL, but we are always open to new technologies.

About You | Skilled Data Scientist Focused on Value-Creating Data Science Solutions

We expect you to have a relevant degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or similar areas. Hands-on experience with the end-to-end Machine Learning process, including data handling, model development, and implementation and monitoring of models in production, is ideal.

A familiarity with the most common Data Science tools and languages is expected, with proficiency in Python being essential. Knowledge of Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure, Docker, GitLab, Kafka, SQL, etc., will be an advantage.

Most importantly, you should be eager to make a difference through the development of predictive models and experimental analyses with our team!
