Your Role With Us

Core Functions

  • Data extraction, analysis, curation, and reporting via online portals or requested formats by institutional/external stakeholders.
  • Support assessment, program review, and accreditation of academic programs using data from SIS, ODW, HR, surveys.
  • Serve as institutional keyholder for IPEDS data reporting, ensuring timely data submission for all mandated reporting periods.
  • Participate on assessment, data governance, and ad hoc committees at the institutional level.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to foster data-informed decision-making across operational domains, ensuring mission fulfillment.
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to research, assessment, and strategic planning, ensuring data security and privacy (FERPA) compliance.
  • Provide effective supervision, management, and professional development for office staff (currently one analyst).

Background/Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in data management/analysis, data science, BI reporting/analytics, or statistics (Master’s/Doctorate preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace, as well as SQL.
  • Preferred experience with Anthology (SIS), Power BI (Azure Analytics), R, Python, SPSS, Salesforce, Qualtrics, Watermark assessment tools.
  • Minimum of three (3) years in data management, analysis, curation, and reporting, preferably in higher education.
  • Experience with data warehouse development (ETL), data governance, and institutional accreditation standards (NWCCU) preferred.
