Your Role: Engineering Manager - Data and Analytics

As an Engineering Manager - Data and Analytics, you will expand our analytical and insight capabilities to shape Unifonic's future. Your team’s insights will inform us of our successes, areas for improvement, and our next strategic moves. You'll work closely with the leadership team to make data-driven business recommendations. You'll lead a team of analytics experts to conceptualize, design, build, and optimize KPIs, metrics, dashboards, and analytical products to enable cross-functional decision-making.

Shape the Future of Communications by:

• Building, developing, and maintaining data models, reporting systems, dashboards, and KPIs.
• Carrying out analysis and formulating department-specific root-cause analyses.
• Developing a deep understanding of Unifonic, the industry, and the market environment.
• Providing analytical support to all business departments by framing complex problems, identifying key variables, distilling insights, and presenting findings and recommendations.
• Enabling all functions in the organization to develop analytical skills and foster a data-driven culture.
• Addressing data anomalies and cleaning 'dirty' data.
• Conducting ad-hoc analytical projects to answer unforeseen questions.
• Creating user-friendly reporting solutions in the form of dashboards.
• Defining analytical/data infrastructure requirements in close collaboration with data engineering.
• Defining relevant KPIs/metrics for the entire business.

Requirements

What You Will Bring:

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Data and Analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Economics/Finance; Statistics/Mathematics; Computer Science, or an equivalent field.
• Strong quantitative analysis skills including regressions and hypothesis testing.
• Advanced working knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases.
• Experience with scripting/statistical languages such as Python or R is an asset.
• Hands-on experience with data visualization/analytics platforms like Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, or similar.
• Proven experience manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large datasets.
• Ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple tasks without losing attention to detail or strategic perspective.
• Experience with marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Segment, Adjust) and/or product analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude) is an asset.
• Proven experience in a cross-functional analytical role as a Data Engineer, Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or similar.
• Outstanding communication skills to present analytical findings concisely, both verbally and in written format.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
