Role Summary

Boeing India is looking for a forward-thinking Data Product Engineer to lead the development of cloud-based Data Products at the Boeing India Engineering & Technology Center (BIETC). This role focuses on blending deep data expertise and advanced technological methods to support the Boeing IT&DA's vision of cultivating cloud-native apps and a multi-cloud strategy.

Key Responsibilities

The Data Product Engineer will be integral in shaping the data architecture that powers aerospace innovations. Responsibilities include:

• Translating aerospace domain-specific data into sustainable products.
• Creating self-service data capabilities for enhanced user autonomy.
• Implementing stringent quality checks throughout data processes.
• Designing and prototyping new data patterns and feasibility studies.
• Developing impactful solutions with a focus on strategic outcomes.

Basic Qualifications

Candidates are expected to bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• At least 8 years of experience in data engineering.
• Proven expertise in Datawarehouse concepts, ETL tools, and data pipeline construction.
• Experience with GCP, complex SQL scripts, orchestration tools, and data modeling.
• Familiarity with Python, SQL, PySpark, and Big Data technologies like Hadoop and Spark.
• Global collaboration skills, with a mindset geared towards innovation.

Preferred Technical Skills

The ideal candidate will also have hands-on expertise in:

• Big Data Ecosystems (Hadoop, Hive, Sqoop)
• Spark Ecosystem and Databricks
• Azure technologies (ADF, ADB, Logic Apps)

Work Location and Relocation

This position is based in Bangalore, India, with relocation options available within India.
