Job Description

Role Summary:

As the Head of Data & Analytics, EMEA at Colliers, you will play a crucial role in harnessing the untapped potential within our data ecosystem. Your responsibilities include leading the European Data and Analytics (D&A) team, promoting data innovation, fostering an inclusive data-oriented culture across regional operations, and overseeing EMEA-level Data Strategy and Analytics tools. This role involves managing critical EMEA-wide data tools, such as EMEA Connect, PM Reporting (AI-2), Colliers Hub, Power BI, SharePoint, TimeXtender, UIPath, and the Azure Data Stack.

Role Purpose:

Your primary goal in this role is to support data-driven decision-making across Colliers' EMEA operations. You will provide strategic leadership, shape the data culture, and optimize the value derived from data resources. Collaborating closely with leaders at all organizational levels, you will offer guidance, insights, and expertise to meet data requirements, achieve strategic goals, and enhance client pitches through strategic data utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership: Empower the European D&A team to develop and implement data strategies and initiatives.
  2. Cultural Transformation: Cultivate a environment of data-driven innovation within regional businesses, making data-powered decision-making a core element of the organizational culture.
  3. Tool Management: Oversee EMEA-level Data Strategy and Analytics tools, including EMEA Connect, PM Reporting, Colliers Hub, and related platforms.
  4. Collaboration with Business Leaders: Partner with leaders at all levels to shape Colliers' data culture, approach, and strategic vision.
  5. Data Consultation: Facilitate data requirement identification, data-driven strategy formation, and value realization across departments.
  6. Client Engagement: Provide data-driven support during client pitches, leveraging insights to enhance Colliers' competitive edge.
  7. Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor the EMEA IT data team, encompassing data engineers, scientists, analysts, and developers. Recruit and onboard new team members to enhance capabilities.
  8. Performance Management: Define clear tasks, objectives, and performance expectations for the team, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives.

Qualifications

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven Leadership: Demonstrated leadership in data-driven roles, preferably in real estate or related fields.
  • Data Expertise: Strong understanding of Data Strategy and Analytics tools, technologies, and methodologies.
  • Cultural Transformation: Track record of nurturing data-centric cultures, promoting innovation, and driving transformation.
  • Tool Proficiency: Proficiency in managing EMEA-level data tools, including Power BI, SharePoint, TimeXtender, UIPath, and the Azure Data Stack.
  • Effective Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills for collaboration, coaching, and mentoring diverse teams.
  • Strategic Vision: Ability to align data initiatives with broader business objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Effective communication with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Client-Facing Experience: Previous client-facing roles and leveraging data for competitive advantage are advantageous.
  • Educational Background: Relevant academic qualifications in Data Science, Analytics, or related fields.
