We collaborate closely with finance business leaders and Fintech product owners to unlock new market opportunities and drive efficiency using Big Data technologies and backend engineering. Our projects vary from optimizing financial operations to developing sophisticated customer payment solutions.

The Opportunity: Lead Data Engineer

We are searching for experienced engineers in the fintech domain, from fresh startups to established experts. Ideal candidates are proficient backend or data engineers eager to advance fintech technologies by enhancing our data systems for improved scalability, speed, and efficiency.

In this Role, You Will:

• Technically lead the team to enhance the scalability, stability, and efficiency of our existing data systems.
• Design and administer scalable data processing pipelines.
• Navigate and innovate with technologies like Scala, Spark, Java, Golang, Python3, Bash/Python scripting, Hadoop, SQL, and S3.
• Collaborate with seasoned engineers and product owners to automate large-scale data management and analysis tasks.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in Data Engineering with a strong background in Apache Spark and JVM.
• Proficiency in Java or Scala and an expert understanding of data architecture principles.
• Experience in systems administration, preferably in Linux, and a knack for analytical problem-solving.

It's Great If You Also Have:

• Experience with Hadoop ecosystem and open-source products.
• Proficiency in Python/Shell scripting and familiarity with agile, test-driven development methodologies.
