We're Hiring: Lead Data Engineer Needed

We are now looking for our first Lead Data Engineer to transform engineering constraints into valuable product insights and foster a data-driven culture at Synthesia. This role will play a critical part in enabling our product teams to leverage data for more informed decision-making. If you have a history of innovating with data across multiple organizations, we want you on board.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Owning our data infrastructure and models.
• Integrating various cloud data sources and enabling impactful team analytics.
• Setting initial priorities for Data to enhance data-informed decisions within our product suite.
• Building and managing our analytics framework to support data accessibility and insight generation across functions.
• Expanding our data team by identifying talent needs and leading recruitment efforts.

We Seek Someone With:

• A significant role in the evolution of an early-stage data team.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a data or analytics engineer.
• A strong background in tools like Segment, Fivetran, Snowflake, dbt, and Census.
• Expertise in SQL and Python, with a strong track record of turning data into strategic assets.
• A knack for data architecture and a keen sense of how data insights can propel product growth.
