Job Responsibilities

Your role as a Lead Machine Learning Engineer involves designing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining our cutting-edge machine learning systems that fuel the Aera platform. You will tackle new Engineering challenges to operationalize Data Science and work collaboratively with our expert teams across Data Science, Engineering, and DevOps to:

• Design and implement advanced Machine Learning approaches.
• Build core machine learning infrastructure, including distributed systems, development tools, model serving, and inference pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for professionals who hold a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (B.E./B.Tech, M.E./ M.Tech, or M.S.) and have:

• 3-8 years of experience in software engineering & architecture.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in designing and deploying Machine Learning Systems.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as C++, Go, Java, or Python.
• Experience with large data sets, distributed systems using frameworks like Dask, Ray, and expertise in building Machine Learning models with libraries like Scikit-learn, Pandas, PyTorch, Tensorflow, or Keras.
• Experience in developing containerized applications/microservices using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Agile Methodology, GITOps, and Jira
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.

Candidates should be ready to take full ownership of developing Machine Learning systems from data pipelines, training, model hosting, to inference pipelines.
