About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Machine Learning Engineer with a passion for Natural Language Processing (NLP) and a strong engineering background to join our dynamic team. This position is based in Ghent with the flexibility for some remote work.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead NLP Initiatives: Spearhead the development of advanced NLP techniques to analyze and process large volumes of textual data, enhancing our intelligent sales agent’s performance.
• Product Integration: Transition Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) to fully integrated, production-ready features, showcasing the tangible user value of your innovations.
• Innovation and Research: Stay updated with the latest developments in AI, ML, and NLP, applying cutting-edge practices and technologies to keep Bizzy at the forefront of the industry.
• Collaborative Engineering: Work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure seamless implementation of AI-driven solutions, transforming complex data insights into user value, and integrating AI solutions into our platform.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities:

• Professional Background: Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Educational Background: A Master of Science degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Python and SQL.
• Creative Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills and a creative approach to addressing complex challenges.
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate the business value of your work to stakeholders at all levels; strong collaborative spirit to work effectively across teams.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English to ensure effective communication within our international team.

Bonus Points

• Experience with MLOps practices, including CI/CD for ML models, model versioning, and monitoring.
• Familiarity with ML libraries such as PyTorch and Hugging Face.
• Experience with working on LLMs.
