Role and Responsibilities

As a Machine Learning Model Engineer, your responsibilities include:

  • Leading tech projects focused on designing, developing, and deploying scalable machine learning models.
  • Researching and keeping up to date with the latest in machine learning technology and industry developments.
  • Developing state-of-the-art machine learning models to meet diverse optimization goals such as install rate and ROAS.
  • Creating and swiftly transitioning prototypes to production-level solutions.
  • Optimizing and scaling existing ML products to drive business objectives.
  • Collaborating across various internal teams and with global partners to deliver new machine learning features and solutions.

Skills and Qualifications

Required:

  • Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (PhD) or 4 years (Master’s).
  • Proficiency in machine learning, data mining, and mainstream ML libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Spark ML.
  • Experience with big data tools and extensive programming skills in Python, Go, or similar languages.
  • Strong SQL skills, understanding of databases, and robust software engineering knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred:

  • Publications in prominent ML venues and familiarity with AWS.
  • Experience in the advertising sector, particularly in real-time bidding ecosystems.

Compensation

For applicants in California, the expected compensation range for this role is between $240,000 and $280,000 annually. The final offer will be based on factors like skills, experience, and other relevant criteria.
