What Will You Do?

As an MLOps Engineer at Singtel, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing engineering solutions to run production-level machine learning and data-driven initiatives.
• Managing and monitoring the full lifecycle of ML models in production, including features, results, and performance.
• Scheduling and orchestrating complex ML workflows and pipelines with the latest technologies and schedulers.
• Optimizing the efficiency of ML algorithms by applying cutting-edge technologies to reduce training time and inference latency.
• Collaborating closely with data scientists, business, and IT teams to build a platform and framework that supports large-scale machine learning and data analytics activities.
• Continuously innovating and optimizing ML workflows through research and development on new technologies.
• Establishing, implementing, and maintaining best practices and principles of machine learning engineering.

What You Need to Have:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Excellent programming skills in at least one object-oriented programming language (Python, Java, C++).
• Proficiency in Bash, Shell, YAML, Ansible, Git, Maven, Jenkins, Junit, Ctrl-M, K8, Docker, and similar technologies.
• At least 2 years of experience in software engineering or data engineering.
• Strong implementation experience with machine learning algorithms and applications.
• Expertise in ML model deployment tooling, high performance computing, and parallel data processing.
• A deep passion for machine learning, exploring new application areas, and leveraging new tools.

Nice to Have:

The following additional qualifications will enhance your candidacy:

• Experience with Spark, HiveQL, or Optaplanner.
• Knowledge in database modeling, big data, or data warehousing concepts.
• Fluency in at least one modern distributed ML framework (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Caffe, MLFlow).
• Exposure to artificial intelligence, including machine learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning.
• Experience working with clients in Singapore, familiarity with the Singapore government, GDPR in Europe, and PDPA in Singapore.
• Certification and applied experience in cloud-based analytics platforms like Microsoft Azure Analytics, Amazon Web Services Analytics, or Google Cloud Platform Analytics.
