Become a part of our caring community and help us prioritize health. Humana is seeking a talented Medicaid Data and Reporting Analyst who will be responsible for generating ad-hoc reports and regular datasets for end-users using various system tools and database or data warehouse queries.

Job Responsibilities

  • Generate ad-hoc reports and datasets for end-users
  • Integrate data from multiple sources to produce required data elements
  • Support Medicaid Clinical operations across multiple markets
  • Manage recurring, state, and ad-hoc reporting needs
  • Program and maintain report forms, dashboards, data generators, and other end-user resources
  • Create specifications for reports based on business requests
  • Make decisions regarding work methods with minimal direction

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of technical experience in data reporting
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • 1+ years of experience in SQL, Power BI, QlikView, and Tableau
  • Experience creating automated reports and self-service tools
  • Excellent organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • In-depth experience with Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivots, charts, and graphs)
  • Experience in the managed care or healthcare sector
  • Prior experience in system analytics and/or data warehousing

  • Minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps recommended
  • Satellite, cellular, and microwave connections must be approved by leadership
  • Bi-weekly internet expense payment provided for associates in CA, IL, MT, or SD
  • Telephone equipment provided for Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates
  • Dedicated workspace required to protect member PHI/HIPAA information

Pay Range

$59,100 - $81,500 per year, with eligibility for a bonus incentive plan, based on company and/or individual performance.
