Role Purpose

The role involves developing and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards. You will ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of HR data. Ideal candidates should be proficient in data visualization and committed to maintaining data integrity within the HR domain.

Key Responsibilities

Power BI Development

Advanced Report Development

• Develop, enhance, and maintain complex Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with senior business stakeholders to translate requirements into reporting solutions.
• Assist in designing and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards.

Advanced Data Integration and Modeling

• Handle sophisticated data integration and ETL processes.
• Develop and optimize advanced data models for performance and usability.

Testing and Troubleshooting

• Conduct thorough testing of Power BI solutions to ensure quality and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports and data.

Documentation

• Document report specifications, data models, and processes.
• Maintain development activity documentation.

HR Data Integrity

Data Integrity Assessments

• Conduct regular data integrity assessments to identify discrepancies in HR databases.

Data Cleansing

• Collaborate with the Shared Services Payroll & Benefits team to rectify data inaccuracies.

Collaboration

• Work with People Business Partners, HR Shared Services Payroll & Benefits, and other stakeholders to enhance report accuracy.

Feedback and Updates

• Provide timely feedback and updates on data discrepancy resolutions.

Industry Best Practices

• Stay updated on best practices and trends in People data management and integrity.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Power BI, including advanced report development and data modeling.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts.
• Proficiency in relational databases and SQL.
• Knowledge of programming languages like Python or R.
• Understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Proven experience in data management and analysis, preferably in HR.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
