Role Overview:

We are expanding our Machine Learning Hardware team and are on the lookout for engineers of all levels to advance the state-of-the-art SoCs and machine learning accelerators. This role involves deep cross-functional cooperation, offering first-time solutions and optimizing low power machine learning accelerators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and address multidisciplinary ML acceleration challenges across algorithms, network designs, hardware architecture, and AR/VR applications.
  • Collaborate across teams to solve complex co-design problems.
  • Performance and power analysis of machine learning models.
  • Development of software methodologies for robust ML accelerator design.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in microarchitecture or digital design and performance modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with computer architecture, including CV/ML accelerators.
  • Proficiency in a programming language like C, C++, or Python.
  • PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience with completion required before joining.
  • Eligibility to work in the country of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ASIC design flow and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or Pytorch.
  • Familiarity with advanced ML algorithm optimizations (Neural Architecture Search, quantization, pruning).

Compensation and Benefits:

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $117,000/year to $173,000/year, plus bonuses, equity, and comprehensive benefits. At Meta, compensation packages are designed to attract and retain the world’s best talent, reflected in your skills, qualifications, and experience.
