Exciting Senior/Lead Data Engineer Opportunity in a Thriving Team!
Join us as we revolutionize our data-driven capabilities! We are looking for an innovative and passionate Senior/Lead Data Engineer to join our rapidly expanding team. This new role provides a great opportunity to shape our data infrastructure and contribute towards our success. As a Senior/Lead Data Engineer, you will be involved in:
Designing and setting up data pipelines, building and managing data warehouses, ensuring data quality and consistency, creating data models, developing data processing and transformation pipelines, setting up monitoring and logging systems, and collaborating with data scientists and analysts as required.
To be successful in this role, you should be proficient in programming languages like Python, Java, Scala, and SQL and distributed computing frameworks like Hadoop and Spark. Experience with ETL tools, cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP, and building, troubleshooting, optimizing, and monitoring data pipelines is crucial. Knowledge of data storage and processing systems like Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and NoSQL databases, as well as data modeling and database design, is also vital.
It would be advantageous (but not essential) if you have experience with DevOps practices and tools for the deployment and management of data infrastructure to improve the reliability and scalability of data solutions and the ability to lead a team of Data Engineers.
