Position Summary

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will:

• Generate insights, develop machine learning, deep learning, and statistical predictive models to drive patient engagement and improve medication adherence and patient experience.
• Deploy large-scale machine learning and deep learning models in production environments.
• Design and implement A/B testing, evaluate biases, and develop strategies to address them.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, IT, and other technical teams to onboard new data sources and optimize model development and deployment processes using GitHub and MLOps.
• Perform data quality assessments, data curation, and modeling.
• Write complex and efficient SQL code and utilize Exploratory Data Analysis to derive insights from billions of transactional records at our Retail Pharmacy.
• Prepare communication materials such as presentations and reports, and collaborate with business, marketing, trade, and other stakeholders across the organization.
• Mentor peers and lead intern projects.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with business insights, machine learning, and deep learning frameworks.
• Strong experience deploying machine learning and deep learning models in production environments.
• Proficiency with cloud-based ML frameworks (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, including data quality assessment and data modeling.
• Experience with GitHub and MLOps.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Snowflake and Databricks.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree or PhD is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The typical pay range for this role is $106,605.00 - $206,000.00 annually. This range represents the base salary or hourly rate for the position within its job grade. The actual base salary offer will depend on various factors, including experience, education, and location. This position is also eligible for CVS Health's bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to the base salary.
