Job Profile Summary

  • Ensure department, program, and study level goals and objectives are consistently met with the highest quality standards.
  • Ensure Statistical Programming team deliverables consistently meet study timelines, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
  • Implement effective tracking and reporting to monitor staff workload and optimize staff utilization.
  • Provide technical and managerial leadership, including mentorship and training of direct reports.
  • Delegate responsibilities to continuously develop team capabilities.

Job Description

Experience Required:

  • Typically, at least 15 years of relevant experience in Statistical Programming.
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.

Impact:

  • Translate vision into actionable plans and guide their execution.
  • Impact medium to long-term goals and contribute to cross-functional objectives.
  • Oversee Statistical Programming teams globally.
  • Ensure deliverables meet timelines, quality standards, and contractual requirements.

Customer Relationship

  • Serve as the point of escalation within the department.
  • Participate in executive steering committee meetings for clients within the function.
  • Represent across Biostatistics and Statistical Programming.

Resource Management

  • Lead the development of staff augmentation strategy.
  • Provide insights across Biostatistics and Statistical Programming.

Financial Management

  • Drive efficiencies and cost savings across Biostatistics and Statistical Programming.

People Leadership

  • Manage People Leaders or Professional levels at least one to two levels below.
  • Chair the implementation of strategies for staff development and create new areas for growth.
