Opportunity Overview

We are thrilled to announce an opening for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer. This fully remote role is designed for individuals passionate about shaping the future of AI in news consumption. Tackle challenges involving large language models (LLMs) and advanced machine learning technologies to redefine how news is consumed and understood.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance prompt engineering methods to optimize outputs from various LLMs.
• Build and manage scalable AI-driven features and infrastructure in close collaboration with Full-Stack and DevOps teams.
• Create and integrate machine learning products such as spam detectors, clustering algorithms, and recommendation engines.
• Utilize non-LLM frameworks to enrich existing products and build robust data pipelines for real-time expanding news-specific dataset.
• Prepare and leverage data for multiple applications including machine learning models, client services, and analytics.

What We Expect

• Over 7 years of proven experience in machine learning (ML) and natural language processing (NLP) technologies, including deployment and maintenance.
• Proficiency in knowledge graphs and advanced ML frameworks, with specific experience in both RAG Framework and Large Language Models like OpenAI or GPT.
• Expertise in Elasticsearch, Typescript, and NodeJS, as well as a strong foundation in AWS data stack (AWS Glue, Redshift, EC2, and more).
• Ability to write optimized SQL queries and develop in languages like Python and Go.
• Experience or interest in the interplay between technology and media is considered an asset.
