About the Role: Principal Clinical Data Manager

We are seeking committed, skilled, and customer-focused individuals to join our dynamic team as a Principal Clinical Data Manager. This role is available on-site at our Bridgewater, New Jersey location, or remotely from a home-based office anywhere in the USA in accordance with our Work from Home policy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and control clinical data operations to provide complete, valid, safe, and secure databases that meet corporate and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and manage clinical data management resource plans and perform ongoing assessments and optimizations for resource utilization.
  • Manage client project portfolios alongside corporate executives and maintain strong client relations. Assist in developing project bids for new projects.
  • Ensure timely availability of clinical data capture instruments and databases. Contribute to their completeness, validity, and effectiveness for product development and local registration.
  • Integrate Clinical Data Management operations with project management, biostatistical, and medical writing groups to align with corporate objectives and optimize productivity.
  • Perform competitive benchmarking of clinical data operations to ensure the techniques and procedures used are best in class.
  • Plan, direct, and follow up on the establishment of unit guidelines or procedures that align with industry best practices in data management.
  • Contribute to corporate efforts in investigating and implementing new systems, standards, and procedures to improve data capture and management efficiency.
  • Recruit, train, motivate, and develop staff to ensure high performance and professional and technical expertise.
  • Plan, manage, and control resources to effectively fulfill unit and corporate missions, goals, and policies.

Qualifications and Experience

  • B.Sc. or higher in Biological Science, Computer Science, Biostatistics, or Mathematics.
  • Twelve (12) years of related experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of systems, programs, and operations required to collect, store, QC, and process clinical data.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage medical information and integrate the activities of information processing personnel.
  • Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Leadership abilities to direct the development and implementation of new standards and procedures for data management.
  • Contribute to corporate efforts in establishing and implementing new systems and standards.
