Job Description
What a Sr. Data Scientist (Sr Manager) does at Visa:
As a Senior Manager in Data Science, within the Global Data Solution team, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding the development and implementation of data-driven solutions. The role will be based at Visa’s Singapore office. The candidate will support the APAC Marketing function by transforming analytical insights into captivating narratives for our clients and stakeholders while providing valuable data-driven insights to drive business growth.
Duties include cross-functional partnerships, influencing business and marketing decisions through data analysis, optimizing various business levers, advocating for data science within our partnerships, seeking innovative opportunities using VisaNet, and leading the development of data driven business insights.

Qualifications
What you will need:
A Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Business Analytics, or related fields. A minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience with at least 8 years in a data scientist or analytics consultant role is preferred. Experience in marketing analytics, machine learning model development, data solution scaling, big data aggregation using Hive, Spark, SQL, R or Python, and visualization and reporting tools is necessary. Exceptional problem-solving skills are essential.
