Job Description

The Senior Business Information Management Analyst (US) provides technical leadership across a broad range of information management functions to support various data and analytics areas. The role involves working independently as a senior lead and may manage activities related to the analysis, design, and support of business data management solutions across multiple projects.

This position leads in interpreting complex business issues, generating multifaceted insights, and identifying opportunities for business growth and value. Collaboration with team members and business leaders to develop and deliver automated business solutions is key. Additionally, the role provides consultative support and develops presentation materials.

Depth & Scope

  • Expert-level professional role with in-depth knowledge in the relevant domain and a working understanding of broader related areas.
  • Requires both advanced conceptual and practical knowledge in own specialty and knowledge of broader related areas.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills and proficiency in at least one or two programming languages.
  • Works independently and may mentor others; capable of leading projects of moderate to complex risk and resource requirements.
  • Familiar with large datasets and big data technologies, as well as visualization tools.
  • Responsibilities include data analysis, design, and development of data repositories, warehouses, and marts, including ETL processes.
  • Supports solutions, applications, and tools leveraged across all functional groups, and develops sophisticated data preparation frameworks.

Education & Experience

  • Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a business administration, statistical, mathematical, scientific, or financial background
  • Expertise in data sources, tools, and technologies used in data preparation and reporting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written
  • Proficiency in MS Office and analytical software tools
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships as well as work independently

Customer Accountabilities

  • Analyzes and understands business and data requirements to develop complete business solutions, including data models and business rules.
  • Applies automation and innovation on data platforms for new development projects aligned with business strategies.
  • Designs and implements complex data information management frameworks to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborates with technology and business partners to resolve issues and adhere to established SLAs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA with 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in data management, data analysis, and reporting
  • Proficient in programming languages such as PowerApps, Power BI, Python, SQL, SAS, R, Visual Basic
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional communication abilities
  • Experience in business development and data analytics
